We Train Your Dog for You!!!
Call (856) 513-0229 for more information

Many dog owners have seen how well trained our dogs are and have asked us about taking their dogs home for training. Due to the overwhelming interest shown in our hard work with our own dogs, we have decided to open our home for dogs to come to for a boot camp style training. We DO NOT use any harsh methods. Instead, we base our program in positive reinforcement techniques for all dogs. Our boot camp program requires dogs to work for every thing they want. They have to earn their food, their toys, and especially their play time. Even their walks are working activities that just happens to double as exercise. The goal is for humans to be in control of all resources so that the dog looks to us for guidance and direction as to what is expected of them. When humans control these items we are now able to motivate a dog to work for us instead of just doing what they please.

Dogs are worked in an array of situations including feeding times, going for walks, and door ways just to name a few. Dogs are socialized to people (including children), dogs, and small animals. Dogs are also introduced to some agility equipment during their stay with us to provide a job for them that is as much fun as it is work. (Agility introduction does not apply to dogs who may have a pre-existing health concern.) All Board & Train clients participate in ALL group classes that occur during their stay with us. Owners are invited to come during these classes to observe the progress their dog has made but are not to participate with their dogs. Board & Train is an intense process that allows a lot of training to occur in a very short amount of time. Due to this aspect of the program, rewards have to be strictly monitored and owners that are not 100% aware of the progress that has been made, may inadvertently cause their dogs to regress in their progress, and lengthening their stay.

Pertinent Information
Leaving home can be a stressful situation for any dog. To ease the transition from your home to ours, we require every dog that comes to us for a Board and Train program to bring their own crate/kennel, food bowls, bed/towel from home, toys, and a full (unopened) bag of food. Amount of food provided is to last them the amount of time they are expected to be with us. If we have to buy food for them you will be charged for the bag of food including sales tax plus a $10.00 travel surcharge.

Most cases are with us for 2 - 4 weeks. Dogs are worked 6 - 8 hours each day of their stay. The program package includes the time spent with us as well as an appointment proir to their arrival to go over expectations and the individual training program to be sure we are all on the same page. It also includes a training appointment upon completion of the program to go over what your dog has learned, commands & hand signals taught, as well as exercises to practice to keep your dog at the top of his game. Owners and their trainer are in constant communication for updates on progress that is being made.

Pricing
Price is based on the amount of time spent with us as well as how difficult of a case we are working with. In general, Board & Train programs range from $800-$1,500 but each case is different and the charge will be based on your individual case. Dominance, and Separation Anxiety cases will be recommended for a 4 week stay to resolve the problems and will include an additional training appointment after the dog returns to their home. Prices will be charged accordingly.

Due to the intense amount of time dedicated towards each dog, we limit ourselves to 1 Board & Train client at a time. We only offer 1-2 Board & Train Sessions each month. We do schedule Board & Train clients up to 6 months in advance with a $50 paid deposit that is non-refundable.

*** All Board & Train fees are due PRIOR to their stay with us.***
We accept cash, check, or PayPal.

There is a returned check fee of $29.
If paying by PayPal, all training fees must be paid a minimum of 24 hours in advance of their arrival.
Owners are also responsible for any and all expenses occurred due to their dog's stay with us including but not limited to vet bills, travel expenses, crate/kennel, food, toys, or training supplies bought expressly for the training of their dog & will be sent home upon the completion of their session. These additional fees are due upon completion of your Board & Train session and are non-negotiable.

Typical Board & Train Schedule
This is just a rough idea of what your dog would be doing during their stay with us. If you notice, there is an emphasis on exercise. This may be a walk or a play session. By giving an outlet for their energy and switching between play and walks, we prevent them from getting too excited and teaches them to stay under control. This puts them into a more balanced state allowing them to be more accepting of the information we are providing to them.

6:30 am - wake up and potty
6:45 - breakfast (meal time training)
7:15 - potty
7:30 - 8:00 - rest time for digestion
