Volunteer Work

We spent 3 hours building some agility jumps and cavalettis for the King's County SPCA to exercise the dogs in their shelter. We donated not just our time, but some of the supplies as well.

We went back to the King's County SPCA to build more agility equipment for the dogs in their shelter. We spent 4 hours at the SPCA working on building the mini A-Frame and getting a lot of painting done.
10/2/09
We were back at the SPCA painting the mini A-Frame with a non skid surface for the dogs. Our next trip should finish the A-Frame.
UPCOMING...
We will be going back for a few more visits to get the rest of the equipment built.

If you're interesting in helping us make life a little better for the SPCA's dogs waiting to be adopted please contact us and we will inform you of upcoming events.

"Training Man's Best Friend"
Standing O'Paws went out to the Waggin' Tails Dog Park located at the 19th Ave. Park in Lemoore, CA for an interview by the Hanford Sentinel. The newspaper wanted to do a feature article on our Agility Program in an effort to inform the community about the benefits of participating in an agility program. We set up a few obstacles for them to see what agility is all about and our own Agility Star, Dempsey, showed them how it was done. The Article appeared in the Sunday, 8/23/09 issue.
