Owner / Instructor Jennifer Jennifer has over 9 years of experience working with dogs and their owners. She has worked for a large pet retailer as a trainer for both new trainers coming into the company as well as the 4 legged clients and their two legged humans. Jennifer, along with her husband, has rescued several dogs in need of a little understanding and a lot of training. She currently owns an 8 year old female Akita who has completed multiple levels of training and is currently working towards becoming an A.K.C. Canine Good Citizen and a Certified Therapy Dog. Jennifer believes that continued education isn't an option for a dog but a necessity for them. She is also a full member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. To see Jennifer in action with a High Flying Client Owner / Manager Charlie Charlie builds and maintains all of our agility equipment used during our classes. He currently owns a 1 year old terrier mix who likes to try out all of the equipment before it gets his Standing O'Paws seal of approval. Our Pack (on 4 legs) Jasmine is a 8 1/2 year old female Akita owned by Charlie and Jennifer. She's more than worth the time that we have put into her training. Because of her even temperament, she has worked closely with Jennifer to help dogs in need of socializing skills. She has helped countless under socialized dogs as well as a few dog aggressive cases. She is currently working towards her Therapy Dog Certifications to bring that same balanced energy to hospitals, nursing homes, and schools. We look forward to sharing stories about some of her visits in the near future. UPDATE: Unfortunately, due to aging that's causing an issue with Jasmine's hip/knee, she will not become a therapy dog. She is retiring from actively working on cases. She will instead, focus all of her work on our Board and Train clients to help bring balance, social skills, and obedience to those of our clients that need her guidance most. Jack "Dempsey" is our newest addition. He's a 1 year old Yorkie / Manchester terrier mix. When he's not chilling on the couch, he is a never ending bundle of energy. If you ask him what his purpose in life is he'd tell you that its to see how fast he can run and how high he can jump. Although he's still working on his own education, he's a natural at helping dad test out the agility equipment.
